Madhubani paintings originated in the Mithila region (present-day Bihar). The art form is passed on from generation to generation. Originally, the paintings were made of natural organic dyes extracted from plants, roots, and other natural things. Now mostly acrylic paints are used. Mostly the women in the village made these paintings to decorate the walls of their houses. The motifs were inspired by their daily life and nature. Gradually, the art appeared in various places like sarees, canvases, dupattas, and so on. This is a free-hand drawing and is very intricate and lovely.
The beige and black is an exclusive combination. The design is very intricate and beautiful!
