Sambhalpuri sarees have been world renowned since ages. Very beautiful Pure Silk Sambhalpuri handwoven saree with very intricate and beautiful motifs allover. These are ideal for any occasion and look lovely. They do not come with the blouse. One of the heritage weaves from Eastern part of our country, Odisha. The threads are first dyed in desired colours before the weaving starts. Generally the colours used are basic ones - white, black, yellow, red and green. Also they are known as "Ikat" The motifs are usually geometric, birds, elephants, horses, temple borders etc.
This one is a beautiful maroon saree with temple border at one end. The border is wide with tribal motifs that are handwoven. Small buttis are scattered allover the saree. The palla also beautiful motifs with lions, flowers, deer and elephants. This is also called double ikkat or bandha saree.
