Its an art of beautifying the fabric with patterns of flowers, geometric designs with pigments with the help of wooden blocks. This craft has been kept alive by the Khatri community from Kutch. It is one of the most famous block print. The dyes used are natural organic ones extracted from various roots, seeds, jaggery and so on.
